Roles of the Staff

This topic is one that all members of the roleplay are required to read. It details the role of each Staff Position within the roleplay and thus how stuff are expected to act. The topic also details the process of reporting staff members or players for improper conduct.

Administrators:

Over-arching authority within the roleplay and able to provide final decisions on issues brought forth after discussions with the entirety of the administration team.
Administrators overlook the the roleplay and its occurrences, and discuss various plans and changes as means to continuously improve the roleplay’s standard and stability.
Each may have additional ‘core’ roles within the roleplay e.g. actively monitoring the status of server moderation.
Are able to perform the functions of other members of staff e.g. moderating the server of forums in the absence of a member within that field. Please note, this can only be done if the member(s) who is chiefly in charge of that aspect is not available whatsoever.

Forum Moderator:

Main goal is to maintain the forums, and ensure that any explicit or overly unacceptable material is removed. This includes flaming other members.
Forum moderators have the right to delete any posts when necessary, or edit another member’s post based on their volition. They are also allowed to lock topics if the topic is inappropriate or is filled with too much flaming or off-topic posts. Forum moderators are also expected to report particularly malicious members to the administrators in-order to evaluate their position within the roleplay.

Server Moderator:

Ensures that there is no real FFA or OOC within the servers, and that a core standard of roleplay is maintained.
Server moderators are able to first warn an infracting member if they break the rules, and kick or even temporarily ban repeat offenders.
It is required that any kicks or bans and thus any malicious behavior by any member is to be reported to the administrators for evaluation of the offending member’s position within the community.

Roleplay Moderators:

Governs and guides submitted roleplay missions and event ideas by players within the Roleplay forum.
Writes out an overall event storyline based upon the daily roleplay which has transpired.
Helps new roleplayers get accustomed to the roleplay environment which surrounds the roleplay.
Is allowed to approve character profiles and post suggestions to help players improve their profile before it can be approved.
Can moderate excessive OOC and FFA committed by players and kick any players if required. Roleplay moderators are expected to report offending players to the admins in-order for the member's position to be evaluated.


Community Board (To be added):

The Community Board is a group of 5 members who act as a judgement panel for any offending members of the roleplay.
They are an alternative form of judgement for offending members if selected, and have the right to judge whether a member suffers any level of punishment, be it a ban or removal of position.

Reporting a Player or Staff Member:

Players are expected to report any staff member or regular player to another admin if they commit improper conduct. Tangible evidence (screenshots and multiple witnesses) is useful if you want to make a complaint.
If a report on a staff member or player after evaluation leads to the conclusion that action has to be taken, the offending member will have the choice of explaining himself before either the administration team or the Community Board, and accept any punishment issued based on either team’s judgement.
