Rules of the Roleplay:

These are the core rules of the roleplay and they MUST be adhered to at all times. When you first join, your overall conduct will be assessed by all the members, and it is hoped you'll fit in nicely and have fun.

General Rules:

No excessive OOC or FFA.
No offensive language in OOC or IC. Stick to traditional Star Wars terms when roleplaying e.g. Sith Spit.
No metagaming/powergaming.
All roleplay actions must be emoted.
Roleplay realistically and respect other players, you're here to have fun.
Cheats are enabled for convenience and to make roleplay more enjoyable. Members can only use NOCLIP to quickly return to areas or to make emotes. Commands such as NPC spawning should only be used with permission from an admin or Roleplay Moderator. If it is found out that cheats are being abused by ANYONE, severe punishments will be issued.

----------------------------------------

Roles and Use of Your Character:

You must have a role at all times when you're on the server, and if you aren't too sure of what to be, just ask OOC'ly. Whilst you will mainly be your Jedi or Gunner during passive temple roleplay, there will be many times when you'll have to play NPCs for various missions, and it's during these times when co-operation is a must. Always make sure you use the classes asked of you to use, and don't use another player's unique character class.

----------------------------------------

Weapons/Combat:

Combat should always he handled realistically. No abilities should be overly spammed when engaging an enemy, and cover should be used whenever realistically possible. Remember, the roleplay is about having fun, and whilst healthy competition is certainly encouraged, you shouldn't attempt to use any kind of exploit.

----------------------------------------

Mission Rules:

Serving as the largest source of conflict for players, missions can range from mild diplomacy to all-out combat. Only the more senior ranks can initiate missions for other characters, and they can be held on any map. You can also choose to escape and leave the mission on the penultimate try, or suffer the consequences if you fail on the last. However, players can invoke a 'Last stand' if they fail the last try, where they get one more attempt at the mission. If they in the Last Stand however, they suffer an upgraded penalty from the original e.g. instead of escaping, you are instantly captured. There are four difficulties of missions which can be chosen:

Standard Resistance (Knight+/Rank 5+): Participants get 5 attempts, failure on the last attempt leads to instant retreat.

Elevated Resistance (Master+/Rank 6+): Participants get 4 attempts and can call backup on the penultimate attempt. Failure on the last attempt can lead to capture or retreat for the original participants (based on creator's choice).

High Resistance (Council+/Rank 7): Participants get 3 attempts and can call backup on the penultimate attempt. Failure on the last attempt will lead to capture for the original participants.

Extreme Resistance (Grand Council/Rank 7):Participants get 2 attempts and can call backup on the penultimate attempt. Failure on the last attempt will lead to capture or death for the original participants.

----------------------------------------

Duel/Death Rules:

Due to the nature of the roleplay, there are no 'raids' as such. Characters will usually remain within their faction haven when not on missions or events. The greatest risk of capture or death is from high-level missions, although there are three ways in which players can attempt to capture or kill other players:

Duel of the Fates
A player can challenge another player to a Duel of the Fates during any round or event. It is a single duel, in which the loser is permanently killed. However, a Duel of the Fates can be declined, with the player being forced to spectate for the remainder of the scene, although the player cannot be challenged for three days following the request. Each character can decline a Duel of the Fates a total of 3 times.

Battle of the Fates
A Battle of the Fates is an event on itself, in which multiple combatants engage in a large-scale, fateful battle. Anyone who falls within the round of combat is permanently killed, including those who died on the victors' side. Battle of the Fates will be planned events beforehand, although a Duel of the Fates can turn into such if other characters attempt to intervene when another player is challenged.

Duel of Destiny:
A player can challenge another player to a Duel of Destiny during any round or event. Like a Duel of the Fates, it's a single duel in which the loser is captured by the victor. Duels of Destiny cannot be declined.
